The first thing I want you to do is to read my review of the new "Climb to the Edge" belt. This is a fantastic belt. But, before you buy it, here is what you should know: First, you can get this belt on a belt company web site and if you don't like the belt, you can return it. Second, this belt is expensive, around $600. You can get the belt from your favorite online store or Amazon or whatever. The manufacturer, The North Face, makes the belt and they charge a lot for it. The most important thing to realize about this belt is that it does not do all the things a good belt does. It is not for long distance runs or Olympic distance running. You can't run in the snow, and it's not designed for speed work. It doesn't do a lot of the things that other high-end belt designs do (like a quick-release buckle or a pull on the back for an extra boost). In fact, there isn't much more to it than the other high-end belts that have been designed specifically for the running sport of cross-country skiing and snowboarding.
